Behind and around the mill are the houses of the mill village, still in use and occupied. If I wasn't so shy, I'd love to go door-to-door and talk with the residents living here to see how many (if any) lived there when the mill was still in operation.

A four legged visitor to the mill. I love cats and I'm glad to see that this one's found a friend who's willing to share some food.
This is taken from the western side of the mill, between the tower structures. I was amazed to see the original sign still there, faded but readable.
One last shot of the western elevation. Looking at the picture now with the oak in front of it, I wonder how much history that big tree has seen and how many workers have sat under it between work shifts.
