While inside the main building, I was able to get a good look at the door and took a closer shot of the bolt. It just seemed to be very strong and sturdy. |

Looking down the hallway, we spotted this. My thought is that the bricked up section on the screen's left side was a cargo elevator at one time. The steel door goes outside to a loading dock. |

In the entrance hallway of the mill, we found this antique scale on display. I'm thinking of it being perhaps around the 1920's, but not positive. . |

Probably one of my favorite parts of a textile mill are the smokestacks. They are almost a signature piece to the building and the first thing I go looking for to photograph. The one at Caraleigh is a very lovely stack and is in excellent condition. The detail at the top gives it a touch of personality rather than just a squared off top. |

While photographing the stack's base, we found this iron door. I wonder if this was a way to get into the stack to clean out the interior of it, or simply get inside of it for maintenance? |
